Feed Your Change: Evidence-Based Nutritional Strategies to Transform Menopausal Symptom Management
FEED YOUR CHANGE: EVIDENCE-BASED NUTRITIONAL STRATEGIES TO TRANSFORM MENOPAUSAL SYMPTOM MANAGEMENT
More than 1.3 million women enter menopause every year in the United States, and the vast majority of them will sit across from a registered dietitian at some point during that journey. Yet menopause remains one of the most underserved and under-addressed topics in clinical nutrition practice.

This dynamic, research-backed presentation by Kimberly Duffy, RDN, LD, CPT, CES closes that gap. You'll walk away with a solid understanding of the physiological mechanisms driving the most common menopausal symptoms and a practical, evidence-based nutrition toolkit to help your clients finally feel like themselves again.
Upon successful completion of this one-hour course, the participant should be able to:
  • Understand the hormonal cascade of perimenopause and menopause and why it creates whole-body symptom chaos.

  • Identify the specific physiological root causes behind many of the more common menopausal symptoms including: hot flashes, night sweats, insomnia, brain fog, fatigue, weight gain, and mood disturbances.

  • Apply targeted nutritional strategies including anti-inflammatory eating, phytoestrogens, gut microbiome support, and evidence-based supplementation to address symptoms.

  • Recognize the emerging long-term health risks of menopause including bone density loss and cardiovascular changes and know when to refer.

  • Apply the knowledge and tools in your clinical practice with women in their 40’s, 50’s and beyond.
