ANTI-INFLAMMATORY DIETS: A GUIDE FOR DIETITIANS
You’ve heard about inflammation and anti-inflammatory diets, but do you understand them? Registered dietitian and author Jean LaMantia, will provide you a great analogy to use with your clients so they ‘get it’. She will also review for you the latest research that links arthritis, COPD, GERD and IBD to cancer and allow you to see that inflammation is the common promoter in all these conditions. She will also discuss how to test for inflammation and what can be done about it. A PDF of anti-inflammatory diet and a comprehensive reference list is included in the webinar materials.

  • State the difference between acute and chronic inflammation.

Jean LaMantia

Jean LaMantia is a registered dietitian, cancer survivor and author of three books on the topics of cancer, lymphedema and intermittent fasting. She is also the creator of the Lymphedema Nutrition School – an online program to help individuals living with lymphedema. She will be launching the professional version of the program this year so that dietitians can acquire the skills and confidence they need to help their patients with lymphedema.
