Intermittent Fasting
Fasting dates back several centuries as a form of religious practice, spiritual renew or simply due to the lack of resources. Current day fasting has been touted as strategy to achieve weight loss and improve metabolic function. As we all know, caloric deficit achieved through restricted intake will likely lead to weight loss in many individuals, but can the strategies of intermittent fasting provide additional health benefit?

Participants will also learn the concept of fast mimicking diets and how this low-caloric FAST may provide beneficial metabolic change.
