Sam believes nutrition counseling is best approached as a process versus seeking a specific outcome. He believes that small behavior changes can have a big impact. Sam focuses on connecting clients to their own definition of health and well-being through dialogue, mindfulness exercises and reflection.
Sam has experience working with weight management, body dysmorphia, pre-diabetes/diabetes, cardiovascular disease, plant-based nutrition, general healthy nutrition (focus on meal planning), mindful eating, and digestive health.

Work History
Sam began his career in nutrition as a vegetable and pig farmer giving him a strong understand of food production and plant varietals. Digging deeper into the science, Sam became a Registered Dietitian and continues to work in Clinical Nutrition in an NYC community hospital. Sam works with a wide-range of clients and brings in his experience as a farmer, certified mindfulness instructor to all his client sessions.
