APPLYING THE ADCES7: GUIDING PATIENTS TO OPTIMAL BLOOD GLUCOSE CONTROL
Looking for evidence-based strategies that create real change? This webinar will discuss how to drive results through utilizing a patient-centered model from the Association of Diabetes Care & Education Specialists. We will take a deep dive into the ADCES7 Self-Care Behaviors for optimal diabetes self-management and learn how to successfully guide patients through the framework. There are more than 30 million people living with diabetes in the United States and Registered Dietitians are an integral part of the care team. The goal of this webinar is to provide RDs with an intuitive and credible model to use with their patients in facilitating behavior change.
Upon successful completion of this one-hour course, the participant should be able to:
  • Understand the framework of the ADCES7 for optimal Diabetes Self-Management.

  • Identify and describe the 7 Self-care Behavior areas of Diabetes Self-Management.

  • Confidently guide patients through the model to select and maintain sustainable interventions.
