We all know someone with cancer...and despite our nutrition degrees we may sometimes wonder about the merits of these popularly promoted diets. How do you answer your clients, family or friends when they ask you what you think of juicing, the Alkaline diet, Gerson therapy and others? Are there merits to these diets? Can you believe the internet testimonials? How do you address your concerns without alienating your client and driving them into the offices of alternative and questionable health practitioners? Join us for this sobering presentation as Jean LaMantia, an experienced oncology dietitian, will share her approach with you as well as her research on popular diets promoted for cancer.
