Food and the Workplace: Changing the Culture of Cupcakes
FOOD AND THE WORKPLACE: CHANGING THE CULTURE OF CUPCAKES
People spend a lot of time in the workplace, and consume a lot of calories there, too. Employers increasingly realize that a nutritious diet is linked to health, well-being and productivity. Yet, many worksites have unhealthy food environments that include food at every event, reward with food and promote food-based fundraisers.

In this webinar, explore how to change the 'culture of cupcakes' in the workplace and fuel employees with better food choices!
Upon successful completion of this one-hour course, the participant should be able to:
  • Describe what employees report eating at work and list the most common food items eaten there.

  • List barriers to optimizing nutrition at work.

  • Identify nudges, such as pricing and product placement, that can help employees make better food decisions.
