ADHD and Nutrition
Join us as we take an extensive look at the impact of Diet on ADHD, from overall best nutrition for the growing brain, to specific diets that can benefit those with ADHD. We'll also discuss related topics such as micronutrient deficiencies, food sensitivities, gut health, nutritional and herbal supplements that help, functional labs to use to test patients, and other considerations such as sleep and exercise.
Upon successful completion of this one-hour course, the participant should be able to:
  • Understand the impact that macronutrient balance, whole foods vs. processed foods, and meal timing has on attention.

  • Identify all the vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients that positively influence the brain and ADHD.

  • Describe the specific diets and supplements used in ADHD treatment.

  • Bring their ADHD clients a comprehensive integrative nutrition treatment plan and improve clinical outcomes.
