Using Stress to Your Advantage
USING STRESS TO YOUR ADVANTAGE: A DIETITIAN'S GUIDE TO MANAGING AND WORKING SMARTER
Dietitians often face stress in the workplace, but rather than letting it become an impediment to success, they can use it to their advantage. Learning how to manage stress is key to achieving better mental health and productivity. Stress serves as a motivator and indicator of what matters most; dietitians should focus on making positive changes that contribute to their well-being by developing healthy outlets for dealing with pressure and creating routines that provide balance and structure. A dietitian can also rely on resilience to help them use their stressful situations to grow, such as exploring different coping strategies or improving their time management skills. By recognizing how they can use stress in beneficial ways, a dietitian can keep their professional ambitions strong while still feeling confident and energized. Through this presentation, dietitians can become empowered to redirect stress into a productive force and make a difference in the lives of those they serve. Participants will gain actionable insights as well as practical advice on sources of stress and how they can be managed more successfully. The webinar encourages its audience to use their new found knowledge and skill sets in managing stressful situations so they can be healthier and more productive.
Upon successful completion of this one-hour course, the participant should be able to:
