EXPERIENTIAL EATING: A PERSONAL ROADMAP TO THRIVING WITH DIABETES
Anny Ha, MS, RD,CDCES, BC-ADM, CEDRD will discuss an evolving shift towards individualization of diabetes care. She will explore how the Satter Eating Competence model offers a framework to address glucose management from an experiential standpoint. Her interactive webinar will demonstrate the application of the core principles of the Satter Eating Competence model and the Satter "How to Eat" program components in a four-week experiential diabetes eating program. The program transforms the dining room into an educational space where participants apply "How to Eat" strategies while utilizing their personal diabetes tools such as a glucose meter, medications and their favorite meals. Through the practice of dining together, participants discover how to enjoy eating while achieving improved diabetes management.
