The Ketogenic Diet for Cancer
THE KETOGENIC DIET FOR CANCER: WHAT IS THE EVIDENCE?
The terrain of cancer treatment is complex and in the face of a poor prognosis, many individuals seek complementary therapies to improve outcomes and quality of life. The ketogenic diet has gained popularity as an alternative and complementary therapy for cancer. But is it safe and effective? And if so, what is the process of initiation and management? Review the evidence of using the ketogenic diet in the setting of cancer and guidelines for implementation and monitoring.
