THE LOW FODMAP DIET FOR DIGESTIVE DISORDERS
The low FODMAP diet can provide a path to relief for many struggling with digestive disorders. FODMAPS are fermentable carbohydrates that contribute to bloating, abdominal pain and other bowel changes associated with digestive distress. Educating and empowering patients and clients can offer piece of mind and structure to a chaotic relationship with food. This webinar will review FODMAPS, evidenced based uses of a low FODMAP approach and how to implement for success.
Upon successful completion of this one-hour course, the participant should be able to:

  • Identify evidenced based uses of a low FODMAP food plan.


  • Discuss implementation, monitoring, evaluation and progression of a low FODMAP food plan.

Lindsay Malone

Lindsay Malone is a registered dietitian and certified specialist in oncology. Lindsay holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration from Xavier University and a Masters degree in Public Health Nutrition from Case Western Reserve University. She currently practices at the Cleveland Clinic Center for Functional Medicine and is owner of Lindsay Malone Consulting, where she partners with patients, caregivers and organizations dedicated to wellness. In this capacity she works to share her nutrition knowledge as a writer, editor, public speaker and educator. Lindsay's passion for nutrition is rooted in her belief that food truly is the best medicine.
