Barbara Truitt, RD, LD/N earned her degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from Eastern Michigan University. She has held many positions with her local and state dietetic associations including being President twice at the local level. She was recognized as the Outstanding Dietitian, Emerging Leader also at the local and state level. Barbara is a contributor for the book "Life With Cheeseburgers," and was also a contributor for the publication "Food Folklore - Tales and Truths About What We Eat" written by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
Barbara specializes in Eating Disorders and currently works in one of the largest hospitals in her county. She also manages a part-time practice on the side.
