Anne is a non-diet dietitian. What does that mean? It means that Anne understands that diets do not work, and "thin" doesn't always equal healthy. She, instead, focuses on finding her client's health and wellness through 1. Examining their past dieting and/or nutritional struggles 2. Thorough review of medical history 3. Helping them rediscover the natural and healthy biological cues that determine hunger & satiety, and understanding the biological drive that leads to cravings and over-eating patterns (hint: it is not a lack of self-control!). 4. making peace with food so that clients are free to spend less time thinking about food, and spend more time focused on what is most important in life! Clients with serious medical issues requiring nutritional intervention will be guided through the often overwhelming and confusing information to create a simplified approach to their diet.
