I provide individualized nutrition counseling to help individuals cultivate a healthy relationship with food by incorporating concepts of intuitive and mindful eating practices. I work with a variety of health and nutritional concerns including eating disorders, disordered eating, weight and body image concerns, orthorexia, and chronic diseases. Within my practice I utilize a Health at Every Size® and non-diet approach in my nutrition practice to include all aspects of health.

Work History

I have a wide range of experience in dietetics and I am particularly passionate about helping people to recover from eating disorders. I have experience treating individuals of all ages at various levels of care including partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient care. Additionally, I have worked closely with individuals diagnosed with HIV/AIDS and other health concerns, such as diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, renal disease, and history of drug/alcohol abuse. I take a sensitive approach to challenges such as food insecurity and strive to deliver individualized nutrition care to each of my clients. I also have experience leading groups focused on nutrition and cultivating a healthy relationship with food. I particularly enjoy helping others put their knowledge into practice through “hands-on” activities like cooking classes, grocery store tours and meal/snack support.

B.S. in Health Science from Northeastern University M.S. in Food Science and Human Nutrition from Colorado State University Dietetic Internship completed at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL
