I am a Registered Dietitian and a Board Certified Diabetes Educator practicing in Northern Virginia. I hold a Masters Degree in Dietetics and Food Service Management and have over 13 years of experience in the field of Nutrition and Dietetics. I have worked with many prenatal and postpartum mothers, infants, and children as part of the Government Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program. I currently provide diabetes care to many patients working with a major hospital chain. I work closely with Pediatricians, OB/GYN and Endocrinologists. I enjoy working with all age groups from children to adults to the elderly. I take special interest in Prenatal Nutrition, Pediatric Nutrition and Diabetes care. I work closely with Diabetes patients (Pre-diabetes, Gestational Diabetes, Type I and Type 2 Diabetes) and offer individual counseling and personalized meal plan. Diabetes care includes insulin management and close monitoring of blood glucose goals. My practice includes weight management and general disease management. I offer individual appointments and group classes. I understand your stress and anxiety when you become helpless in reaching your goal of healthy living. When you talk, I listen.
