Brooke is a Registered Dietitian who holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Nutrition from NYU. She brings a strong clinical nutrition background with her to Nutrition Energy from her experience at Mount Sinai Medical Center, where she continues to serve as as Senior Clinical Dietitian. Brooke is well versed in all aspects of medical nutrition therapy; nutrition for control or improvement of diabetes, kidney disease, hypertension, high cholesterol, GI issues and weight management. Brooke also specializes in nutrition for cancer and spinal cord injuries. She prides herself in staying abreast of and translating scientifically sound nutrition information into practical, manageable tips to use with her clients in order to better their health. As a Registered Dietitian, former collegiate athlete and professional dancer, Brooke has both clinical and practical experience designing training programs tailored to the individual needs of different sports. She understands the nutritional demands each type of exercise warrants, and easily balances those needs along with each individual's needs as they relate to goals for weight loss, power, flexibility, endurance and/or strength to create an overall balanced nutrition plan.
