Caroline is a weight inclusive, trauma informed, health at every size aligned dietitian. Her evidence-informed work is influenced by intuitive eating, body neutrality, feminist theory, and mindfulness practices. She has undergone specialized training in Eating Disorders, Family Based Treatment (FBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy for dietitians, and Radically Open DBT for dietitians. Prior to founding RootED Nutrition and Counseling, she worked in university counseling, residential mental health treatment, and in group practice. Caroline is actively working towards her Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS) certification, and will complete this in 2022.

Work History
Caroline worked in university counseling for two years before moving to residential mental health treatment. She then joined a group practice specializing in eating disorders, where she was intensely trained to treat anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, and ARFID. Caroline now owns a trauma-informed, weight inclusive practice dedicated to healing the pain caused by eating disorders, disordered eating, and body image disturbances. Caroline is currently also pursuing her licensure to practice as a psychotherapist.
