Work History

I am an RDN working in private practice and for the WELS (Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod). Currently, my work with the WELS includes working on a health platform to help promote healthful living through nutrition. I am a new dietitian starting off my career along with three littles under 2. I have a basic understanding of long term care and hospital nutrition from working briefly under dietitians at both of these types of facilities. I look forward to learning more about nutrition in my professional life and by exploring specialty areas like pediatric nutrition and eating disorders. I have a Bachelor's in Dietetics and Nutrition via the University of Alaska Anchorage. My Dietetic background has prepared me to feel confident in my ability to be a Dietetic professional and given me many opportunities to explore the wide variety of career possibilities. In terms of specialty areas, Eating Disorders is a main focus of mine due to my own personal struggles with disordered eating from a young age. From being a wife, mom, student, and so much more, this is me.
