I do not think I did too well on a project, and it was worth a LOT of my grade. I have a 79 in there, but I am worried that the project is going to bring down my grade a lot. I am studying hard for the final, but I do not know if that is enough for me to keep at least a C. If for some reason I get a D or F, what do I do? I know I will retake it, but I am worried that because of that bad grade, I

I am very sad because I found out that I did not get into a dietetic internship program. It came very unexpected because I have a good grade point average (3.5) and a lot of experience in the nutrition field as I worked as a nutrition program coordinator in an adult day care where I worked directly under the RD. So yes, I was shocked I did not get matched and I still do not know why. I only appli

Im John and i have a friend that tried to commit suicide in 2015 by swallowing a bottle of either acetaminophen or ibuprofen (not sure which and I don't like to bring up the topic with him to determine what he used). He survived, and since then has had multiple problems with what he describes as acid reflux. He's been going crazy cutting everything out of his diet and blaming the problem solely o

Here is my dilemma.

I recently moved from Texas to Arizona. I have some scholarship funds left in Texas, enough for 2 classes. Books I'd have to pay for. I have to take two classes for the scholarship and they may not transfer as core classes, but as electives.

I am not eligible for in-state tuition in Arizona (at any college) until July 2018. :|

Hi everyone!

I've just joined this forum today. I'm going back to school this Fall for my B.S. because I've decided that I want to become a Registered Dietitian.

However, upon research, I've come across multiple people mentioning how competitive it is to get a Dietetic Internship and how it is more than just your GPA that matters.

How and where do I go to get volunteer experience wh

Hello,

I am very passionate about health and am 99.9% sure that I want to pursue a degree in dietetics. I'm not too sure on how to get started. I don't see myself being able to go to university currently (full time job currently) so would like to start with a creditable online course.

Anyone have experience with this? Will I have trouble finding work?

Any info regarding this would be gre

Have this case study about a cancer pt who is receiving chemo, 20 lb wt loss, albumin 2.8, and having n/v.

I know this probably pretty simple, just confusing me for some reason, or maybe I'm over thinking it. Its asking what is the best indicator for malnutrition...
a. n/v
b. the pt having cancer
c. 20 lb wt loss
d. albumin 2.8

I currently have the Inman review to help me study for the RD exam, but I am looking into purchasing something else for more practice questions. I read that DietitianExam.com has over 1000 questions. Has anyone ever used it and can give me some feedback? Or would StEP from the academy be better? Thanks in advance!

Hello future dietitians,

My name is Michelle and I've been a dietitian for 10 years now. Over the course of my experience we've gotten various resumes from entry level RDs/RDEs, and I want to offer my advice/services to anyone who wants someone to look over their resume in preparation for job searching. It's become tricky now a days especially since most companies use a system in which "keywor

Hello,
I am considering validating my foreign dietitian degree in the States. Could anybody completing or having completed his/her dietetic internship in Houston, TX, tell me a little bit about the schedules?
Does anybody know if there are part-time internships in Houston?
Thank you!
