Enteral Nutrition 101
This is a great opportunity to refresh your skills and stay on top of the enteral nutrition practice in your facility. In addition to reviewing how to calculate enteral nutrition orders, this webinar will cover alternate nutrition sources, as well as new guidelines to follow that are fully supported by the American Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (ASPEN). Two case studies will be reviewed.

  • Write an enteral nutrition order and plan monitoring.

  • Describe all formulas of enteral nutrition available.

  • Understand the method of checking gastric pH versus gastric residuals.
