TRAINING TABLES AND TRAVEL EATING FOR TEAM SPORTS
Converting science to practical meals can often be a challenge for individual athletes or team sports. This webinar takes the science you know and transforms it into a practical menu for athletes. It will cover writing training table menus at home and on the road and will help you identify what type of food your team should be eating. From pre-game meals to post-game meals to the practice days in-between, this webinar will help you create a successful menu for your team!
Upon successful completion of this one-hour course, the participant should be able to:
  • Identify the components a dietitian needs to consider when writing a menu outside of food.

  • Understand the principles of pre and post-workout/game menus.

  • Recognize the challenges creating a "perfect nutritional" menu and how you compromise.

  • Identify practical tools for working with chefs and caterers when you cannot be present.
