Mary W. Myers, MS, RDN a registered dietitian nutritionist with over 25 years experience, has a private nutrition consultant practice in Freehold, NJ. Her office is conveniently located less than a mile from Centra State Medical Center in Freehold Township. Mary has worked as a clinical dietitian and nutrition coordinator at New York-Presbyterian Medical Center in New York City with specialization in renal disease, weight management, hypertension, hyperlipidemias and diabetes. With extensive experience counseling individuals and groups, Mary helps her clients make healthier food choices. Her practice stresses the importance of long-term dietary and life style changes. For clients with medical conditions such as diabetes, hypertension and high cholesterol Ms. Myers provides medical nutrition therapy.

Education

I received my Bachelor of Science degree in dietetics from Oneonta State University, N.Y. and a Masters of Science degree in Human Nutrition from Hunter College, N.Y. I completed my dietetic internship at New York-Presbyterian Medical Center, in NYC. As a registered member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and a member of the Commission of Dietetic Registration, I continually keep up to date on the latest nutrition research and trends.Additionally, I have completed training as an intrinsic coach.
