2016 - Book Co-Author - "Behind Their Brand Vol. 2" 2007– Present – President/Owner/Certified Personal Chef – My Chef Shirley is a Personal Chef and Nutrition Service located in Northern Virginia. www.mychefshirley.com. Shirley manages a team of personal chefs and Registered Dietitians that provide healthy meals and other chef services as well as nutrition counseling and support for busy individuals and families in Fairfax County and the surrounding areas. She conducts cooking demonstrations, classes, and presentations to individuals and groups on healthy cooking, cooking techniques, and other cooking and nutrition topics. She has been a spokesperson for Suriny Rice Bran Oil and repeat guest chef on “Recipes from the Chef’s Kitchen” Channel 10 in Northern Virginia (episodes 909 and 933). As a volunteer with the White House’s “Chefs Move to School” initiative she worked with Key Middle School. Fairfax County Public Schools now contracts with My Chef Shirley to provide nutritious cooking classes after school to both students and adults in two different schools. 1997-2000 – Wellness Dietitian- Lakenheath Hospital, RAF Lakenheath, Suffolk, England 1985–1997 - Consultant Dietitian - Provided consultant dietitian services to a variety of facilities to include: 1994-97, Mount Vernon Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Alexandria, Virginia 1991-92, Osceola Nursing Home, Osceola, Arkansas 1989-92, Eaker Air Force Base Health Promotion, Blytheville, Arkansas 1988 - Modern Maturity Center Adult Feeding Program, Dover, Delaware 1985-86, Bayshore Cluster Intermediate Care Facility for the Mentally Retarded, Panama City, Florida 1985-1987 - Private Practice, Panama City, Florida 1984–1985 - WIC Coordinator, Three county area centered in Jackson County Public Health Unit, Marianna, Florida 1981-1982 – Line Cook, Spangdahlem NCO Club, Spangdahlem AFB, Germany 1981-1983 – Caterer/co-owner, Epicurean Delights Catering, Spangdahlem, Germany 1981-1983 -Outpatient Dietitian, Spangdahlem Medical Clinic, Spangdahlem, Germany 1980-1981 - Clinical Dietitian, Marquette General Hospital, Marquette, Michigan
