Work History

Christi was diagnosed with migraines at age 17 and sought out treatment from a neurologist who used dietary intervention as primary treatment. Within a few days, Christi was migraine-free and instantly intrigued with how diet can manage different diseases. While knee-deep in research and coursework at ASU, Christi worked for a large weight loss company and local gym. Soon after passing the RD exam, Christi was involved in the successful design and implementation of a diabetes treatment program and corporate wellness program - Healthy Lifestyle Challenge. Currently, Christi works in the nutritional management of children with special needs, freelance nutrition writing and private nutrition counseling for children and adults.

Education

Christi pursued B.S. and M.S. degrees in Nutrition from Arizona State University and researched how carbohydrate intake effects mood in women.
