Staci Small MA, RD is a Registered Dietitian with over 16 years of experience providing pediatric and adult medical nutrition therapy. Her practice specializes in identifying and treating food allergies and food sensitivities, biomedical nutrition care for autism, ADHD and other special needs, treating IBS and digestive health issues, and implementing specialized diets such as the gluten free & casein free diet (GFCF), Specific Carbohydrate Diet (SCD), Candida Diet, as well as the Gut and Psychology Syndrome diet (GAPS). Ms. Small completed both a Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. She is approved by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics as well as the Commission on Dietetic Registration to practice clinical nutrition. Before working in private practice, Staci worked as a Clinical Research Dietitian for the Indiana University School of Medicine and in public health as an educator and media spokesperson. Throughout the years, Staci has appeared on numerous television newscasts, television interviews, radio broadcasts and print based media. Ms. Small is trained in the Defeat Autism Now! (DAN!) nutrition protocol. She is currently enrolled in the membership track to the Medical Academy of Pediatric Special Needs (MAPS), the only comprehensive teaching and fellowship for the biomedical treatment of autism spectrum disorders.
