I am passionately interested in the story of every person I work with. My clients are looking for an alternative to traditional medicine and surgery. They want to find the source of symptoms, illness, weight problems or lack of energy and are determined to be empowered to manage their health in a gentler more holistic, long lasting way. The process may be slower than a pill but the results are permanent without the side affects. Food, lifestyle, supplements, exercise, and mindfulness are major players but we all need a different recipe of these ingredients. Call 800 692 9711 I have worked in nutrition for over 30 years sports nutrition, weight loss, food allergies, autoimmune conditions, cancer therapy, diabetes, gastrointestinal disorders, PMS, prenatal nutrition, menopause, thyroid and endocrine disorders, environmental deficiencies, detoxification, and holistic nutrition. www.Netnutritionist.com has allowed me to work with people locally and around the world. Work History

Gay began her nutrition career working with children that had neurological and orthopedic conditions. Her job was to research and develop diets for nutritional deficiencies in clinical dystrophies and rare metabolic conditions, healing of orthopedic surgeries and diets to reduce the side affects of the drug treatments, as well as, to get the kids to eat the food! She later did the same work with the elderly. In 1987, Gay worked in weight management, what she felt she was destined to do. She helped hundreds of people learn to deal with food issues, to lose weight, develop their individual eating style and more importantly, motivated them to maintain it. During that time, she did her thesis on weight loss in women on a protein sparing modified fast so you could say, she is an expert on the subject of fasting. She also worked with competitive body builders, elite and professional athletes, dancers, and sports teams. For 14 years, she was senior consulting dietitian with the Apex fitness group involved in various projects such as the development of the Bodybugg Armband technology. As a member of Apex Fitness Group, she also worked with 24 hour fitness. Gay has authored two books; The Pocket Personal Trainer and Daily Records which are still in print after 13 years. Gay had a monthly column in the local Health and Fitness magazine for 13 years and has appeared on both television and radio. She has contributed to national magazines such as Woman’s Day, Prevention Magazine, Men’s Fitness, Cooking Light, scientific publications, and national newspapers. Gay started a private nutrition practice in Richardson, Texas (the Dallas Fort Worth Area) in 1991, and founded www.netnutritionist.com in 1997. Gay continues to work with people in all areas of nutrition and health. Her practice includes local in person consultation as well as skype and long distance appointments. Gay is a member of The International and American Association of Clinical Nutritionists (IAACN) and served on the board for 5 years. She is a certified trainer with the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), served on their advisory board for 8 years and is a contributing author for the NASM certification textbooks. Education

Gay graduated from Texas Woman’s University in 1980 with a bachelor of science in Clinical Dietetics, became a Registered Dietitian (RD) and went on to get her masters in clinical nutrition with a minor in Exercise Physiology. In 1999, she earned a clinical nutrition certification (CCN) in formal training of functional and alternative medicine, clinical and environmental nutrition. “I have been an amateur student of herbal, homeopathic and preventive medicine my whole life. Learning about alternative medicine, therapeutic vitamin and mineral supplementation, diagnostic testing, and energy, mind-body medicine was the missing link to my ability to help people transform their lives; myself included.”
