Top of Page  1.  Why must I login before I can take a course?

Courses are available to Dietitian Central members only. If you are not a member of this site, you may want to become one. Membership is free. Once you have logged in, you'll be able to purchase all courses provided. As a member, all courses you take will be tracked and be made available to you at all times when you login.

Top of Page  2.  I've paid for the course, but I don't have the time to go through it now, nor take the exam, can I come back to it later?

Of course. You may come back to the site as often as necessary in order to review, take the exam, or print your certificate of completion. As long as you log in so that the system can identify you, you'll be able to have access to a course you've purchased every time you go to our Continuing Education section ('CEU Courses' on the Navigation bar).

Top of Page  3.  If I don't pass the course exam on my first attempt, can I take it again?

You can take the course exam as often as is necessary to achieve a passing grade. Upon achieving a passing grade, you will be able to print a certificate of completion to keep for your records.

Top of Page  4.  Does Dietitian Central submit my CPE hours to the ADA?

No. While Dietitian Central keeps track of all the courses you take, all RDs and DTRs are responsible for tracking their own CPE activities on the Step 4 Learning Activity Log in their Professional Portfolio or via the CDR website. Dietitian Central allows you to print a Certificate of Completion as support documentation to confirm that you have taken and successfully completed a course.

Top of Page  5.  How do I pay for a course?

You can pay for a course online. Members may pay via Mastercard or Visa.

If you would rather pay by check or money order, please email us at Webmaster@DietitianCentral.com for our mailing address and instructions.

Top of Page  6.  How secure is the online payment process?

Credit card validation is performed by way of our payment gateway provider, Authorze.net.

Authorize.Net implements the most advanced Internet security protocols including 128-bit Secure Sockets Layer (SSL). On top of that, Authorize.Net consistently employs an extensive number of strong practices, procedures and industry leading technologies to maintain tight security for the entire payment gateway platform. Authorize.Net also maintains compliance with high quality security programs developed by the card associations, such as Visa Cardholder Information Security Program (CISP) and MasterCard Site Data Protection (SDP); and continually invests time and money to maximize the security surrounding the payment gateway.

At no point is the credit card information you enter on the payment form such as credit card number, expiration date, or address stored or retained in Dietitian Central's database.

Top of Page  7.  What is your refund policy?

Our customer telephone number is 631-392-1910. Our customer email address is Webmaster@DietitianCentral.com. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we will provide you with a full refund if request is submitted within 10 days of purchase and before a passing grade is achieved.
